Q: Why did UAH Esports choose to re-instate Club Dues?
A: UAH Esports collects dues from players to assist the club in many different areas of spending. We have lots of needs that aren't covered consistently, like entrance fee's for Esports leagues, travel costs, items for our practice room, and much more. By paying Dues to UAH Esports, you also get access to the Practice Facility on campus, and to our incredible competitive teams program with coaching staff!
Q: Who needs to pay Dues?
A: Players, Substitutes, Captains, Game Leads, and Staff members at UAH Esports that compete under with one of our teams are required to pay dues to participate. No exceptions are made (unless in situations of dire economic hardship)
Q: How can I pay my Dues?
[DISCLAIMER]: Do not pay your dues to the club until after rosters for your desired competitive title are finalized for the upcoming season!
A: You can make online due payments via this PayPal QR code, Paypal link, or using the email sres@uah.edu on PayPal's app/website. Cash payments are accepted as well.
[UAH Esports does NOT have any other online payment methods, and will not be able to re-imburse those who make faulty payments on other online platforms]
Q: What is the deadline for Due Payments?
A: The hard deadline for due payments is January 28th. However, ensure to only pay your club dues after the rosters of your competitive title have been finalized!
Q: What if I can't pay my Dues?
A: UAH Esports wants to give everyone a fair opportunity to compete regardless of financial status. If situations of dire economic hardship exist for you, please message the Club President or Voting Representative to explain your situation.
Q: What if I don't want to pay my Dues?
A: If you don't want to pay your dues, you will not compete on a team at UAH Esports. You may still participate in the Discord/In person events, but you may not practice or compete with any of our competitive rosters.
